I believe good product development always starts with understanding the user.
My name is Tom-Oskar Barreflod and I am working at IKEA as a Project Leader, leading the digital price tag projeect.

My origins are on the west coast of Sweden, in a little village called Glommen. A couple of years ago, I took my, then, beard-less face and moved to Luleå and started to study M.Sc Industrial Design Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. 

(I have also done studies within Business Administration at School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg to broaden my view of business structure.)

My goal, on all kinds of projects, is that the user appreciates the result with no drama. The best solution is the one that the user just understands and don’t have to think about or get annoyed by.

My three biggest assets I bring to a working environment are my hunger for knowledge, teamwork, and something I call expanded design thinking.

I have experience with the Design thinking process, Interaction Design, UX, Product development, Graphical Design, and Prototyping.
